Yo-Yo Ma, born in 1955, is a well-known cellist. He graduated from Harvard University in 1976. His mother, Lu Yawen, was a singer graduating from Nanjing National Central University (now Nanjing University), and his father, Ma Xiaojun, was a violinist and music professor of the university.
