Peter,
You write “The People’s Republic of China is the most densely populated country in the world.”
This is not just wrong, it’s wildly wrong. China is the 53rd most densely populated country in the world — as you ought to know just by thinking about the vast almost empty expanses of Xinjiang, Mongolia, Tibet — and ideed most of China!
Apart from a lot of city states and islands — Vatican City, Monaco, etc. etc. — Germany, India, Japan, both Koreas, and a whole lot of smaller countries are more densely populated than China.
Where do you live? Have you perhaps forgotten that most of China does not look like what you see outside your window?
Best wishes,
-dlj.
Thanks. I think I should correct it as: China is the largest country by population.
