Nowadays Chinese TV shows are becoming more and more popular in mainland China. These Television shows are usually broadcast during prime time and have attracted the largest audience. Here is a list of the most popular TV shows in China of 2013.

1. Chinese Celebrity Splash 中国星跳跃

Chinese Celebrity Splash is a reality TV show based by Zhejiang Satellite TV based in Hangzhou, which has become the first one in China to license the Celebrity Splash format from Eyeworks. In the programme celebrities compete in a live diving competition in front of an audience, attempting back flips, somersaults and more in hopes of dazzling the judges. The Chinese version invites Tian Liang, a former Olympic champion, to instruct the contestants on and off the diving board. The programme debuts in April 6. 2. The Voice of China 中国好声音

The Voice of China is a Chinese reality talent show that premiered on 13 July 2012 by Zhejiang Television. It is adapted from a Dutch reality talent show. The show sees its hopeful contestants going through a blind audition, with four celebrity judges/coaches picking their teams of singers who will then go on to compete for a recording contract and a highly publicized concert performance. 3. Your Face Sounds Familiar 百变大咖秀

Originally produced by Endemol Spain for Antena 3, Your Face Sounds Familiar is a talent competition with a comedy twist. Hunan Broadcasting System’s version of the show is the first in Asia that premiered in July 12, 2012. Celebrities take on a new identity as an iconic music performer and are awarded points for singing, style and believability. 4. Tian Tian Xiang Shang 天天向上

Tian Tian Xiang Shang or Day Day Up is a popular Chinese talk show broadcast on the Hunan Satellite TV Channel. The show is co-hosted by Wang Han, Ou Di, Tian Yuan, Qian Feng, Japanese actor “Yano Koji,” and South Korean pop singer Tanas. It has drawn great attention from the public especially student groups and other young people for its hilarious humor, style, and the adorable public figures who appear as guests.
