1. Jiuzhaigou

Located 450 km north of Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province.  Jiuzhaigou is a magnificent valley extending over 60 kilometers with a breathtakingly beautiful landscape. The elevation of the Heavenly Lake is 2,189 meters It is quite cool in Changbai Mountain, so it’s an ideal summer resort.

 4. Shennongjia

Located in Hubei Province, Shennongjia is home to numerous wildlife and forestry resources. The average latitude in the mountains is 1,700 meters and the Shennong Peak above sea level. Due to the special climate, it is neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. Walking in the virgin forests is an incredible experience, especially in the burning summer.

5. Beidaihe

Beidaihe is located in the Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It is a perfect summer resort. Its charm lies mostly in the lively inhabitants, bustling night stalls and, of course, the seaside views. Along the coastline of Beidaihe, sandy beach and reef are interlocked each other.

6. Qinghai Lake

Located in China’s Qinghai province, Qinghai Lake is the largest lake in China. With an altitude of 3, 195 m high, the climate surrounding is very cool. Even in the middle of the summer, the average temperature in the daytime is about 15C. Every summer, cool breezes sweep across the lake, where thousands of birds live in nearby wetlands. Yaks and sheep graze on the lakeside grassland. The scenery is as amazing as one can imagine.

7. Chengde

The city Chengde in Hebei Province is a cool and scenic summer resort 250 kilometers northeast of Beijing. It is a place where Qing Dynasty emperors to escape the heat. The Mountain Resort and its temples and palaces have made chengde a famous historical and cultural city, and one of china’s leading scenic spots.
